CAD DETAILER
Our client is a full service exhibit and event company serving national brands with custom fabrication, design, and production. They are seeking a full time CAD Detailer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design intent and shop floor execution, producing accurate, buildable drawings that keep projects moving without rework.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop detailed shop drawings from design concepts, ensuring accuracy in scale, material specification, and construction method
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to resolve buildability issues before fabrication begins
Maintain drawing standards and file organization across active projects
Communicate directly with production and project management teams to clarify design intent during the build process
Revise drawings as needed based on client changes, engineering input, or field conditions
Support estimating and engineering teams with accurate takeoffs and specifications as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in AutoCAD required
Experience detailing for custom exhibit, event, or experiential fabrication
Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and shop practices
Ability to read and interpret design concepts and translate them into buildable drawings
Comfortable working directly with production, engineering, and design teams
Basic 3D modeling experience a plus
