Business Development Manager

A trade show industry leader for three decades, our client specializes in high-quality, innovative exhibiting solutions. They offer a comprehensive suite of services, including custom fabrication, high-impact graphics, and digital activations tailored to help marketers elevate their brand presence. Whether through custom modular builds or full-scale asset management, they deliver world-class experiences for brands of all sizes.

They are seeking Business Development professionals at all career stages (Managers and Directors) who love creating new business opportunities. This is a fully remote role.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Target and engage high-value prospects across trade shows and experiential marketing.

  • Use strategic, consultative selling to drive qualified opportunities and close new business.

  • Lead capabilities presentations and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.

  • Build and execute innovative business development strategies alongside marketing.

  • Leverage CRM and sales tools to aggressively grow pipeline and maximize conversions.

  • Secure new logos with a “land and expand” approach focused on long-term growth.

  • Consistently hit revenue and profit targets with strong forecasting and closing skills.

  • Represent the brand with integrity across industries and client engagements.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in trade shows, events, or experiential marketing.

  • Proven success in new business development and strategic account growth.

  • Strong network of industry relationships and a self-starter mindset.

  • Comfortable managing complex sales cycles and enterprise-level accounts.

  • Skilled in CRM systems, digital outreach tools, and pipeline management.

  • Creative, collaborative, and adaptable communicator.

  • Minimal travel (4–8 industry shows per year).
