Senior Business Developer

Our client is seeking a senior-level business development leader to drive new revenue growth across the exhibit and events industry. This role is focused on enterprise account acquisition, outbound business development, and long-term relationship growth within the trade show, conference, and experiential marketing space. This is a fully remote role. Ideal candidate is located in the western US i.e. California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, or Utah.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive new business development across exhibit, trade show, conference, and experiential marketing accounts

  • Identify, pursue, and close enterprise-level opportunities through strategic outbound outreach and relationship development

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities across key verticals including corporate events, conferences, hospitality, healthcare, technology, and sports

  • Develop relationships with marketing leaders, event stakeholders, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers

  • Collaborate with internal production, creative, and operations teams to align solutions with client objectives

  • Lead sales conversations from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close

  • Expand existing accounts while consistently generating net-new business opportunities

  • Maintain visibility into industry trends, competitive activity, and client spending patterns

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

  • Contribute to long-term revenue growth strategy and market expansion initiatives


REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience within exhibits, events, experiential marketing, trade shows, branded environments, or related industries

  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business opportunities

  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build pipeline through proactive outreach

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and enterprise-level relationships

  • Understanding of exhibit fabrication, live events, conferences, or experiential programs preferred

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to operate independently in a high-activity sales environment

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including production, creative, and project management

  • Existing industry relationships and network strongly preferred
