CAD Detailer/Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate approved design concepts into detailed technical drawings for fabrication, installation, and engineering review.
Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, construction details, and material callouts, using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
Collaborate closely with internal design, project management, and shop fabrication teams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of the build.
Work with vendors and suppliers to specify and source materials and hardware.
Assist with structural engineering documentation and permit packages when necessary.
Ensure all drawings meet project timelines and adhere to internal quality standards and industry best practices.
Update and revise drawings as changes occur throughout the lifecycle of the project.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as a CAD Detailer or Draftsperson within an exhibit, live event, or custom fabrication environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.
Solid understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and installation practices common in the trade show and event industry.
