Project Manager
A leading custom exhibit and trade show fabrication company in Atlanta is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex exhibit builds from concept through installation. This role sits at the center of the production process and works closely with design, engineering, purchasing, fabrication, and graphics teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate understands the pace and complexity of exhibit fabrication and can manage multiple projects while keeping internal teams aligned and informed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage exhibit projects from initial handoff through final installation.
Coordinate with design, engineering, purchasing, fabrication, graphics, paint, and installation teams.
Review drawings, shop plans, and specifications to guide production and resolve issues.
Build and maintain project schedules; identify delays and adjust plans to keep projects moving.
Work with purchasing to order materials and confirm delivery timelines.
Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, notes, and change orders.
Lead internal project meetings and communicate updates across departments.
Track project changes and ensure updates are documented and communicated.
Identify risks early and take action to keep projects on time and within budget.
Ensure consistent follow-up across departments to maintain accountability and momentum.
Complete final documentation and close out projects once delivered.
REQUIREMENTS
3–5 years of project management experience in exhibit fabrication, events, or similar environments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Clear communication across internal teams and with clients when needed.
Ability to adjust priorities quickly as timelines or project requirements change.
Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills.
Experience in fabrication environments such as trade shows, exhibits, millwork, or events.
Familiarity with fabrication processes including carpentry, graphics, and tension fabric systems.
Working knowledge of project management tools and production workflows.
