Senior Account Executive, Exhibits, Chicago

Our Chicago client is seeking experienced industry sales professionals looking to take their career to the next level. Our client wants to open a dialogue with candidates who are aggressive hunters, utilize a client centric approach, and are team players. The candidate who is who is an ideal fit must be selling $500K in custom and/or rental exhibits.

Our client focuses on value and experience to provide marketing/branding solutions. They offer exhibit design, production, and show services from concept development to post show storage and property care. This is a great opportunity offering the candidate who is there right fit a salary plus commission. NO DRAW.



  • Prospecting via phone, e-mail, and through Social Media
  • Introducing prospective clients to our client's capabilities, products and services
  • Performing company capabilities presentations
  • Meetings with potential clients to determine trade show and event marketing needs
  • Working with internal teams to develop exhibit and design solutions
  • Writing and presenting proposals
  • Handling objections and closing sales
  • Managing your projects with the assistance of an internal support team



  • 5+ years of experience in the trade show and event marketing industry
  • Experience selling exhibits, displays, graphics, and related products/services
  • Strong sales skills and a proven success record
  • MUST be selling $500K (minimum) in custom and/or rental exhibits
  • Excellent prospecting and phone skills
  • Consultative and conceptual sales experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Advanced client relationship building skills and experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to work well with internal teams
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-driven, determined, focused and motivated by sales success

Location: Chicago

Salary: Salary + Commission (DOE)
