Production/Warehouse Manager, Exhibits, Atlanta

Our client is currently seeking a Production Manager. The Senior Production & Warehouse Manager implements and manages production requirements for traveling and permanent exhibition installations and de-installations throughout North America and internationally. This position is also responsible for managing US warehouses.



  • On Site Management of the installation and de-installation of permanent and travelling exhibitions
  • Provide quality control oversight for all production managers and production staff
  • Oversight of recruiting, coordination, and scheduling of independent contractors for exhibition installation and de-installation of permanent and traveling exhibitions
  • Working in conjunction with design, sales, marketing departments, and others to review site plans and design drawings
  • Research and engage contractors, production managers and crew, and develop budgets for supplies, materials, and auxiliary crews, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment
  • Manage and ensure that all local, regional, state, federal, international, and corporate safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to
  • Have a clear understanding of all policies, procedures, and expectations in both the warehouses and in the field, and be responsible for ensuring that all staff and contractors comply and adhere to them
  • Develop trucking schedules, trans loads, and delivery sequences to ensure an efficient flow of trailer/container arrivals which are in sync with the production schedule
  • Prepare and approval all departmental expense reports
  • Extensive domestic and international travel
  • Manage personnel and operate lifts, dollies, risers, platforms, decking, drapery, ropes, cables, rigging, and other devices and apparatuses relative to the production processes
  • Manage and train teams in the loading and unloading of trucks and/or containers
  • Work flexible schedules, including early morning, evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required
  • Maintain proper certifications in the warehouses including equipment operations, and first aid if required



  • Exhibit, manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Management skills displaying strategic thinking and planning
  • 5 years senior production experience leading crews and implementing production systems
  • Excellent time management, project management, leadership and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to multi-tasking, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interpret plans and diagrams
  • Advanced computer skills. (MS Office)

Salary: $90K
