Account Executive, Events, Los Angeles




Our national client provides rental of products and services to the live events and trade show industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their Los Angeles based team. This position is responsible for business development with new and existing clients. The right person for the sales team will be flexible in order to get the job done with the ability to balance creativity and good analytical skills to stay focused on results.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Pursue leads,prospect potential clients
  • Maintain and build client relationships
  • Identify selling opportunities
  • Manage client communication (email, phone, face-to-face)
  • Develop sales pitches, capabilities presentations, strategic and written proposals
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, and prepare and execute detailed contracts, agreements
  • Work effectively with members of internal and external teams, to develop client-specific action plans
  • Clearly communicate strategic initiatives
  • Prepare sales forecasts, lead and reports as required
  • Contribute feedback and ideas
  • Represent the company as a leading solution provider

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of exceeding sales goals in similar field or 2-3 years within the Hospitality and/or Special Event Industries
  • Demonstrated capability at new customer acquisition and client retention/growth
  • Ability to conceptualize and create opportunities for growth
  • Ability to effectively build and manage a sales pipeline
  • Skill in handling a high volume of market research, cold calling, appointment setting, strategic networking and closing of accounts to achieve revenue goals
  • Microsoft Office skills to successfully perform the selling, planning, and reporting responsibilities of the position
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight

 

Location: Los Angeles

Salary: $70K + Commission
