Account Director, Live Events, Philadelphia




Our client specializes in Exhibits, Live Events and Creative Production. The Marketing Communications solutions they offer include Creative Event Production, Live Events, Product Launches, Activations and Trade Shows globally. They are currently seeking an experienced Account Director to join their team. The individual in this position is accountable for developing new business opportunities, deepening market penetration and increasing business with current customers. The role includes coordinating with internal teams and client representatives to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new business opportunities and projects, be involved with projects from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines
  • Provide and maintain client contact and relationship database
  • Lead and manage new business presentations
  • Seek new opportunities to add value to existing clients
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities
  • Develop workable budgets, work plans and realistic timetables
  • Collaborate with leadership team in development of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the client
  • Define project scope, estimate and writing proposals, work with Production team in creation of project specifications and timetables
  • Identify and develop target lists of clients and partners
  • Understand business objectives, challenges and opportunities of target and industry
  • Be knowledgeable and prepared to present company credentials and capabilities
  • Manage and budget activities for business development activities (databases, Industry groups, events and conferences)
  • Network to find new business opportunities
  • Updating portfolio items for marketing materials
  • Manage agency, business presentations and meetings

 

Requirements

  • Interest in and aptitude for creative business and marketing communications/live events' solutions
  • 8+ years experience building new business and account 5+ years of account management experience (within healthcare verticals preferred
  • Highly motivated, with a proven track record of new business acquisitions and expansion of client accounts
  • Expert knowledge of all functional agency departments, capabilities and service areas
  • Deep understanding of a range of industries, markets and brands
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Great project management abilities
  • Self motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed

 

Location: Philadelphia

Salary: $100K-$125K
