Director of Operations, Exhibits, Las Vegas

Our client creates the marketing environments and brand experiences that engage, entertain and educate customers and prospects. They provide the service and support needed to help clients attract customers and achieve their marketing goals. They are seeking a Director of Operations.

The Director of Operations will be the operational glue for the organization. In this position the successful candidate will be a strong leader and the bridge between the warehousing, production, showroom, field services and design departments. This role is for a hands-on operational leader who likes to drive outcomes and solve root problems through innovation and teamwork.



  • Provide the strategic direction and leadership for the office in alignment with direction executive leadership team
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and technologies which improve functional/operational efficiencies including workflow, production quality and communication
  • Create production strategies and objectives
  • Meet all established cost, quality and delivery commitments
  • Ensure the unit is working collaboratively as a team to achieve plan objectives and that each function is performing at optimum levels
  • Comprehensive operational reports
  • Recruit, hire and coach new and existing staff
  • Monitor staffing levels in accordance with production needs
  • Ensure that the work culture and working environment in the organization is conducive to optimum employee productivity
  • Implement warehousing practices that accurately account for company and client owned properties
  • Facility organization, cleanliness, safety and efficiency
  • Control allocation of material, human and financial resources
  • Establish and manage the operations budget
  • Identify impacts on P&L and propose solutions for alignment
  • Manage and implement internal workplace safety policies
  • Develop and establish new policies and procedures to enhance safety compliance



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration would be an asset
  • 5 years of professional management or leadership experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a project management role
  • Excellent leadership, relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Able to clearly present information verbally and in writing
  • A proven track record of solid decision making
  • Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Order processing, Database software
  • Ability to travel as needed

Location: Las Vegas

Salary: $100K-$120K
