CAD Detailer, Exhibits, Denver




Our client is a fabricator/producer of custom exhibits, environments and events. Their portfolio of work is evidence of the successful relationships they create. Our client's team draws on decades of experience and a passion for providing marketing/branding solutions. They are seeking an experienced Detailer to join their team for a hands-on role in producing exhibits and events.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Create construction drawings showing sections details, plans and elevations for shop manufacture
  • Ability to create 3D models for the use of creating setup drawings and exploded views to translate setup procedures in the field
  • Attend kickoff meetings with Production Purchasing Managers, Project Managers, Account Executives, and designers to discuss course of action to meet clients’ needs
  • Review construction methods and details before beginning the detailing process with team
  • Organize drawing files, documents and misc. files in an orderly and easily to accessible manner in a workstation and a network drive
  • Ability to develop construction drawings within the parameters of the project estimate
  • Work closely with the project manager on developing cost effective material selections

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience within an exhibit detailing department
  • AutoCAD experience using recent releases
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong drafting skills
  • Experience in exhibits fabrication, trade show fabrication, architectural millwork, high-end cabinetry or interior build out is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with shop fabrication techniques, equipment, and processes
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Location: Denver

Salary: $50K-$65K DOE
