Project Manager, Exhibits, Chicago




Our client is a multi-disciplinary exhibit firm specializing in marketing driven brand environments. They design and build experiences (trade show and event marketing) for corporations of all sizes. They have honed their expertise, to become an industry leader in providing integrated design build solutions. Due to growth they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage permanent installations
  • Manage Detailers and Shop personnel for all production needs and well as Vendor partners and sub-contractors
  • Act as an active member of project teams with Account Executive, Account Manager, Graphics Designer etc., participating in kick-off and status meetings, ensuring effective communication of timelines, deadlines, deliverables and pertinent details
  • Act as an active member of project teams with Account Executive, Project Manager, Graphics Designer etc.
  • Analyze job requirements, defines scope, determines resource requirements, establishes production schedules and deadlines
  • Responsible for ensuring layout, drawings and client requirements are prepared and submitted to Account Executive for approval
  • Assist staff as necessary with overflow
  • Participate in projects as requested by senior management
  • Build and completes data billing file for processing
  • Responsible for the execution of contract interpretation and negotiation of terms and conditions

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Construction Project Management
  • Minimum 5 years Trade Show experience
  • Strong knowledge of exhibit construction technologies and materials
  • Knowledge of exhibit operations and procedures
  • Familiar with architectural standards, AIA forms, etc.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Some Travel
  • Ability to work a flexible and demanding schedule

Location: Chicago

Salary: $65K - $80K (DOE)
